The historic Monroe Apartments was built in 1921. It consist of 19 apartments, 6 efficiencies, 7 one bedrooms and 6 two bedrooms. A three story Flemish bond brick structure with Georgian Revival decorative features. This unique structure is built in a wedge shape, thus giving the apartments non-square and architecturally interesting rooms. Many of the apartments have arched hallways and windows.
